Comer Fletcher "Pop" Miller, 85, of Benton, formerly of Pine Bluff went home to be with Jesus on Friday, July 30, 2010 at the Veteran Hospital in Little Rock. He was born Aug. 21, 1924 in England. Proceeded in death by W.C. Greenllee, Ollie Greenlee and Fletcher Miller. He graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1944 as the class valedictorian. "Pop" served in the U.S. Army for 23 years, retiring in 1972. He worked for DH Services for 15 years where he was a mentor to many troubled youth. He was a Baptist and a member of the American Legion and the VFW. Pop was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be missed by those who were touched by his kindness and love. He is survived by his wife Frances Hall Miller, who he married on Nov. 18, 1951; three daughters, Carla (Dennis) Cantrell of Pine Bluff, Rhonda Wolf and Tonia (Jim) Matthias of Bryant.; seven grandchildren, Donald Wolf, Amber Archibald, Scott Wolf, Heather Crisalli, Christopher Cantrell, Matthew Jones, Mason Jones; five great-grandchildren, Dani-Kay Wolf, Lake Wolf, Rebecca Archibald, Syndi Crisalli, Sophie Crisalli, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Hoyle Greenlee, and sister, Quita Jackson. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son, with Dr. Charles F. Meyer, Minister of The Warrington Church of Christ, Pensacola FL. and Douglas Walker officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery in Woodlawn. The family will receive friends at Robinson's, Sunday afternoon, 2-4 p.m. At other times they will be at Carla and Dennis Cantrell's home, 9320 Henderson Road, Pine Bluff.
