David Eugene Stahr, 51, of Greensboro, N.C., passed away July 26, 2010 after a lengthy illness. David is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Lisa Hain Stahr; sons Zachary and Henry Stahr all of Greensboro, N.C.; mother Bonnie and husband Gary Davis of North Little Rock, Ark.; father Roy and wife Helen Jane Stahr of Riverton Ill.; sisters Debbie Davis of Little Rock, Ark., Mary Jane and Stephanie Stahr of Springfield, Ill.; mother- and father in-law James and Theresa Hain; sisters and brothers-in-law Buddy and Stacy Hain, Michael and Andrea Hain all of North Little Rock, Ark., and Ken and Susan Clark of Birmingham, Ala. David grew up in Springfield, Ill. and North Little Rock, Ark. He graduated from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. David moved several times before he and his family settled in Greensboro where he was a business owner. It was here that he thrived on spending time with his family, watching his boys play football, volunteering as a coach for local youth, and walking his beloved bulldog Chubs. Family visitation will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3, followed by a Rosary service at 7 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in North Little Rock, Ark. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the church under the direction of North Little Rock Funeral Home (501-758-1170). A memorial service will also be planned at a future date in Greensboro at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.
