Iris Ethelyn Craig Hollanger Moore

Iris Ethelyn Craig Hollanger Moore, 90, of Stuttgart died Friday, July 30, 2010, at her home. Mrs. Moore was born Sept. 9, 1919, in Steele, Mo., to Elza Boone Craig and Mary Settle Craig. She was a 1937 graduate of Stuttgart High School and 1962 graduate of then-Arkansas State Teacher's College. She retired from teaching in 1969 having taught in Stuttgart, DeWitt and other Arkansas County locations. She was a rice farmer and iris grower. She was a Methodist and member of Order of the Eastern Star. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Carroll Richford Hollanger; second husband, Nicholas Randel Moore Sr.; son, Ronnie Lynn Hollanger; two brothers, Thomas Gerald Craig and James Earl Craig; and sister, Edrodean Craig Tower. Survivors are two sons, Larry Dale Hollanger of Stuttgart and Craig Nelson Moore of Germantown, Tenn.; daughter, Carol Ann Hollanger Chinn of Lowell; brother, James Eugene Craig of Dennard; sister, Mary Evelyn Craig Adcox of England; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
