Lee C. Wallis, 89 of Coloma, Mich., formerly of Little Rock died Saturday, July 31 in Berrien Center, Mich. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating his life with Military Honors will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, August 10, at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma, 269-468-6000. Burial of Lee's ashes will be at a later date in Forrest Hills Memorial Gardens in Little Rock next to his wife Alma, who preceded him in death in 1999. Those wishing to leave a message of comfort for the family may do so at www.duffieldpastrick.com. Lee was born August 25, 1920 in Crowder, Oklahoma to Lee and Charlsie Wallis. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. In 1995 he retired as a self employed painting contractor having been in the interior decorating business for over 50 years. Survivors include two daughters Linda (Fred) Zoschke of Coloma and Linda (Jack) Keller of Ferndale, Wash. Also surviving are six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife Alma he was preceded in death by several brothers.
