Phillip M Dodd

Phillip M. Dodd age 68, passed away August 1, 2010 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born January 11, 1942 to Andrew and Grady Dodd in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Phillip was retired from Southwestern Bell and co-owned and operated the Swinging Bridge Resort for many years. He was a member of the Harden Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He loved golfing, surfing the internet and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Gayle Dodd, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, one son, Mike Dodd of Heber Springs, one daughter LeAnne and husband Dan Gilliam of Cabot, Arkansas, also one sister, Janice White of Heber Springs, Arkansas, two grandchildren; Jared and Jordan Gilliam both of Cabot, Arkansas, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; Andrew and Grady Dodd, his step-father, Calvin Haynes, two brothers; Donald "Buddy" Dodd and David Dodd, one sister, Kathryn Manning. A memorial service will be held August 5, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Heber Springs Funeral Home.
