Raymond Toye (Leong Ning Fee), of East End, departed this life on August 2, 2010 at the age of 94. He came to this country from China in 1925. After traveling the world, he settled in Washington D.C. where he owned and operated several restaurants, until moving to Arkansas with his family in 1987. His wife, Edna, preceded him in death, and he leaves three daughters: Judy Ross (Bob), Pati Toye, both of the East End community, and Susan Welsh (Joe) of Bowie, Md. He also leaves his grandchildren, Michael Ross (Lisa), Raelee Toye, and great-grandchildren, Trent Ross and Jordan Ross. The family would like to thank Reynolds Center on Aging at UAMS and Hospice of Arkansas for the care that they gave to "Pop-Pop." In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The East End Fire Department, Reynolds Center on Aging, or Hospice of Arkansas.
