Dorothy "Dottie" Cash

Alexander, AR, 1930 - 2010

Dorothy "Dottie" Cash, 80, of Alexander, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2010, at her home. She was born January 28, 1930, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dottie was a devoted Christian since her youth. Working alongside her husband, they played piano and taught Sunday school for over 45 years. She was a member of Indian Springs Baptist Church where she especially enjoyed her Sunday school class ladies.
Preceding her in death were her parents, George and Mary Householder; and one granddaughter, Nicole. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Clenton Cash; children, Robert Mashburn (Jan) of Texas, Richard Mashburn (Aria) of Arizona, Debbie Turbyfill, Randy Cash and Lorna Higgins (Bill) all of Benton, Arkansas; one sister, Judy Todd of Texas; seven grandchildren, David, Bartley, Daniel, Kelly, Kim, Brian and Renee; fifteen great-grandchildren and a host or relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2010, at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy. 5 North, Alexander, Ark. (501-455-1067). Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 6, 2010, at Indian Springs Baptist Church, 23581 I-30, Bryant, Ark. 72022, with Pastor Tom Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Fairplay Cemetery, I-30, Exit 106, Benton, Ark. Memorial contributions may be made to Indian Springs Baptist Church XYZ Van Fund or the Sanctuary Upgrade Fund.
