Thomas Lindel Ellis

Thomas Lindel Ellis, 89, of Hot Springs, Ark., died Tuesday, August 3, 2010, at a Hot Springs hospital. He was born October 22, 1920, at Billstown, Ark., the son of the late Edgar and Ada Johnson Ellis. He was a member of the Hot Springs Baptist Church. He was an avid camper and fisherman. Mr. Ellis is survived by his wife, Marie Ellis of Hot Springs, Ark.; God-daughter, Linda Whelan of Kansas City, Mo.; nephews, Tommy Stueart of Mena, Ark., Billy Bob Blackwood of De Queen, Ark., Larry Stueart of Ashdown, Ark., Rufus Robins of Texarkana, Ark.; one niece, Nedra Martin of Wickes, Ark.; 12 great-nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m.., Friday, August 6, at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel, Murfreesboro, with Al Terrell officiating, burial in Murfreesboro Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.
