Thomas Ernest Wilson

Thomas Ernest Wilson, 74, of Benton, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2010. Thomas was born on April 13, 1936 to the late, Albert Russell and Ruth Glenn Elliott in Benton, Arkansas. Mr. Wilson was an independent Truck Driver for over 45 years; he loved his truck and being on the open road. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at the lake and watching old western movies. He was Methodist in faith. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carolyn Gilmore. He is survived by his daughter, Virginia Ruth; two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Nicholas; two brothers, Wayne and Lloyd Elliott; one sister, Mary Bromley; very special friend, Marcia Ferguson and many nieces, nephews and friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 8, 2010 from 2-4 p.m. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Saline Memorial Hospice.
