ALBERTA L TAYLOR EWING of Little Rock passed Aug. 4, 2010. She was the widow of the late Rev. H C Ewing, CME Church and mother of Herman C Ewing (deceased), Barbara A Ewing Sandusky and Nazeeh Islam. Retired nurse from the University of Arkansas Medical Center. Oldest living member of Miles Memorial CME Church, a member since the late 1950's. Member of the Missionary Society, the Progressive League, Sunday school, and the Steward Board. She never forgot her family's hard times. She always gave back to Him who gives all blessings. Services, Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010, 11 a.m., at Miles Memorial CME Church, 1804 East Capitol Avenue, LR. The Reverend Richard F. Stokes officiating. Family hour, Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010, 6-7 p.m., at Ruffin and Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester St., LR (501) 372-1305.
