Clifton Carl Law, age 79, of Judsonia, died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010. He was born Feb. 27, 1931 in Judsonia to the late Clyde and Girthel Patterson Law. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, he was employed as a line foreman for 1st Electric Co-op for 40 years and was a member of the VFW. He is survived by his wife, Esel Hambre Law; a son, Jerry Law; one daughter, Diane Law Coker; a niece, Carolyn Chumley; a nephew, J.C. Dennisten; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother D. N. Law; and sister Lillian Law Denniston. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 8 at Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 9, with burial to follow, at Fredonia Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to Children's Hospital in lieu of flowers. www.powellfuneralhome.net.
