Frances C. Sharp

FRANCES C. SHARP, age 92, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away on Aug. 5, 2010. Frances was born on April 22, 1918 in Little Rock to her late parents, Rev. R. C. Otey and Mary Reynolds Otey. She was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church of Little Rock and was a very devout Christian who loved to read her bible and teach Sunday school. Survivors include one son, Johnny G. Sharp, Jr. (Judy) of Hot Springs; one brother R. C. Otey of Hot Springs; four grandchildren, Jill Cauthen of Hot Springs, Jamie Bufkin of Madison, Miss., Jason Byrd of Florence, Miss., and Adam Ingram of Byram, Miss.; four great-grandchildren; and her lifelong friends, Carolyn Dodds, Helen Crosby and her two favorite Kangaroo Kids, Linda Logan and Anna Fricks. She is preceded in death by her husband Johnny G. Sharp. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 9, 2010 at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, Ark., (501) 455-1067 with Pastor Ben Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. A visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010 at the funeral home.
