Joann McCoy, 71, Little Rock, departed this life Aug. 3, 2010. Joann retired from Baptist Health after 38 years of service. She leaves to cherish her memories: husband, L.V. McCoy; children, Dianne White, Ronnie (Patricia) Scott, Michael Scott, Horace McCoy; brothers, Darnel Smith of Holly Grove, Leroy (Jessie) Smith of Detroit, Mich., Therman (Jan) Smith of Omaha, Neb., Clydell (Mayola) Smith of Stuttgart, Billy (Alice) Smith of Little Rock; sisters, Alma (Matthew) Braggs of West Helena, Lucille (Chris) Montgomery of Little Rock; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a host of other family and friends. Family hour 6-7 p.m. Tuesday and funeral service 11 a.m. Wednesday both to be held at Greater Macedonia Baptist Church, Pastor Cleo Nellum officiating.
