CHARLENE ELIZABETH WELLS-TROTTER, 83, of Little Rock passed away Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010. She was a retired teacher with a total of 35 years teaching. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Cleo F. (Virginia) Trotter; daughters, Faye "Fayre" Elizabeth Harrison and Tamara Evette Trotter; brother, Willard L. (Jeanette) Smith of Los Angeles, Calif.; sister, Juanita Spencer of Monticello, Ark.; grandsons, Stanley P. (Janice) Harrison of Dayton, Ohio, Quintin F. Trotter, Antonio L. (Milikia) Rodgers, Felton J. Rodgers; sister-in-law, Dr. Shelby M. Anderson of Pine Bluff, Ark.; granddaughters, Demetrius L. McCray, Shanda R. (Cory) Coleman, Jewel D. McCray, and Shatara B. Trotter; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; best friend, Velma Sims; nephews, nieces, other relatives, friends, and a devoted church family. Funeral services, 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010, Allison United Presbyterian Church, 922 Wright Avenue, Little Rock. Family hour 6-7 p.m. at the church.
