Robert L. Day

Mr. Robert L. Day, age 76, of Forrest City, Ark., died at his home on Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010. Mr. Day was born Jan. 1, 1934 in Forrest City. He was the son of Luther Day and Inez Rainey Day. Mr. Day had worked for the Arkansas Highway Department for 30 years and was a Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion and was a Protestant. Mr. Day married Nancy Townsley Day in 1959 and she survives him. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Lewis and Sammy Day. Services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forrest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 Tuesday at the funeral home.
