Bessie Talbert Samuel, 97 of Carthage died August 8, 2010. Born May 2, 1913 in Tulip, Ark. to the late Noah and Minnie Chandler. Bessie was a retired LPN and a member of Barnet Chapter 451 Order of the Eastern Star in Fordyce. She was a member of Third Baptist Church of Malvern, Ark. Bessie is survived by: one granddaughter: Heather Talbert McMinn (David) of Sherwood, Ark.; three great-grandsons; one brother; two sisters. Graveside services will be held at Tulip Cemetery.
