Emma Lee Sawyer, age 93, passed away in Carrollton Texas on Wednesday, August 4, 2010. She was born in Corsicanna, Texas on Tuesday, October 3, 1916 to Thomas J and Minnie Reed Lewis. Emma was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband James F. Sawyer; her brother W.T. Lewis; brother, Cecile Lewis and sister, Eula Bridges. She is survived by her sister, Peggy Turner. Emma was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church and a long time resident of North Little Rock, Arkansas. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 JFK Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. (501-791-7400).
