Emma Lee Sawyer

Emma Lee Sawyer, age 93, passed away in Carrollton Texas on Wednesday, August 4, 2010. She was born in Corsicanna, Texas on Tuesday, October 3, 1916 to Thomas J and Minnie Reed Lewis. Emma was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband James F. Sawyer; her brother W.T. Lewis; brother, Cecile Lewis and sister, Eula Bridges. She is survived by her sister, Peggy Turner. Emma was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church and a long time resident of North Little Rock, Arkansas. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 JFK Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. (501-791-7400). Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at the Roller-Owens Chapel followed by interment at Edgewood Memorial Gardens, North Little Rock, Ark.
