Gladys Aliene Sandine, 80, of Stuttgart, died at Baptist Health Hospital in Little Rock on Tuesday, August 10, 2010. Gladys was a homemaker and she loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her flowers and birds and especially her little dog, Missy.
Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Robert Sandine; her parents, Lonnie and Maude VanHouten; sister, Clara Sandine, and two brothers, Lonnie VanHouten, Jr. and Cecil VanHouten. She is survived by one daughter, LaDonna Davis and husband, Brooks of Stuttgart; one son, Lawrence Sandine and wife, Diane of Searcy; brother, Von VanHouten; two sisters, Blanche Hill of Stuttgart and Carolyn Foster of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Brad Alderson, Matthew Davis, Shayne and Chad Sandine, Fallon Sandine and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen. Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m., Friday, August 13, 2010 at the Westbrook Funeral Home Chapel in Hazen. Burial will be in the Hazen Cemetery. online obituary at www.westbrookfuneralhomehazen.com.
