Charles Edward Elkins, Sr.

Charles Edward Elkins Sr., age 89, of Warren, Arkansas died Wednesday, August 11, at Bradley County Medical Center. He was born July 22, 1921 in Oakdale, Louisiana a son of the late John Armstrong Elkins and Pearl Ann Ortte Elkins. He was a Presbyterian and a retired treating plant manager for Riverwood Corporation at Shreveport. He was preceded in death by his wife Vera Robinson Elkins. Surviving is a son, Charles Edward Elkins Jr., Helena, Ala; a daughter, Linda Raymond, Adzer, Ala; a stepdaughter, Judy Rockett, Warren, Ark; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Burial was in Forrest Park Cemetery West, Shreveport, La. by Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren.
