Georgia Adams

Georgia L. Adams, 86, of Streamwood, Ill., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010. Georgia, born in Oklahoma, was the daughter of Harrison Simpson and Cora Angelene Samson Bland. As a sharecropper's daughter, she learned early on about hard work and also had a great appreciation of the results and values of that effort. As a mother, she instilled those values in her children. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Raymond D. Adams. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by three children, Kenneth Seipp, Jerry McDow and Sheila Neuman; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. 72116 (501) 791-7400.
