James Harold Hall Childs

James Harold Hall, 71, a resident of Pine Bluff, died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, after a lengthy illness. He died from complications of pneumonia. Harold was born Aug. 28, 1938, in Pine Bluff, a son of Henry William and Amoree Holland Hall. Harold was reared and received his early education in Pine Bluff. He was a 1956 graduate of Pine Bluff High School. James Harold Hall married Jane Stone on April 25, 1958, in Pine Bluff. Harold served in the Arkansas National Guard for over 22 years. He was a supervisor for the International Paper Company. He worked there for 40 years, retiring in 1998. Harold was of the Baptist faith. Harold was preceded in death by his parents; infant sister, Fern Hall. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Jane Stone Hall of Pine Bluff; daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and Mike Dorn of White Hall; daughter Jennifer Hall Hopkins of Pine Bluff; two grandsons, William Scott Beard of Pine Bluff, and Paul Michael Dorn of White Hall; granddaughter, Holland Elizabeth Hopkins of Pine Bluff; one sister, Frances Hall Miller of Benton; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Mary Lee Hall of Pine Bluff; many other family and friends. The visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010, at Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 16, 2010, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend Warner Worthan officiating. Burial will be private by Ralph Robinson & Son.
