Billie Jean Moore, 81, of Conway, died August 15, 2010. She was born in North Little Rock, Arkansas on June 7, 1929, to George and Ethel Bright Rushing. She was a Baptist and a retired dietitian after serving many years at the VA Hospital in Little Rock. She is survived by two sons, Ronnie Moore (Beverly Jo) of Perryville and David Moore of Mayflower; one daughter, Janice Davis (Charlie) of Conway; one brother, John Henry Rushing (Barbara) of Little Rock; eleven grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Marie Rushing of Mabelvale and Mary Brown of Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Jerry Morrill, Flo Staggs and Evaline Stone; three brothers, Carroll, Marvin and Buster Rushing; and one daughter, Barbara Nowlin. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 18 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Funeral Services will be Thursday, August 19 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Little Rock Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Burris and Mr. Bruce Davis officiating.
