Lebert Carter Moncrief

Lebert Carter Moncrief, 74 of Conway, died Saturday, August 14, 2010. Lebert was born September 26, 1935 in Parkin, Ark. to the late Dewey and Mamie (Brock) Moncrief. He is also preceded in death by son Floyd Moncrief. Mr. Moncrief was a master craftsman, building several homes, the last one on Lake Conway. He was a ventriloquist, and enjoyed fishing. He loved his children, and taught them to be self sufficient. He is survived by children Angel Forster of El Paso, Lee Moncrief of Cabot, and Michael Moncrief of Romance; mother of his children and best friend Lawanda Moncrief McGhee; siblings, Billy Moncrief of North Little Rock and Linda Bowie of Greenbrier; grandchildren, Joshua, Sarah, Adam, Troy, Amie, Kelly and Cory Moncrief, Christina Henson, and Misty Roberts; and great-grandchildren, Jackson Henson and James Moncrief. A reception will be held at Lawanda McGhee's home at noon on Saturday, August 21, 2010, followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. at Freewill Baptist Church in Vilonia.
