Henry Scott Leach

Henry Scott Leach, age 94, of Oppelo, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2010. He was born March 28, 1916, in Adona, Arkansas, a son of Jessie Louis Leach and Sarah Francis Leach. He was a bus driver, farmer, heavy equipment operator, and member of Oppelo Assembly of God. Survivors include his wife, Lois Anna Ashley Leach; one son, John Henry Leach of Oppelo; three daughters, Shirley Tucker, Ida Polk, Patricia Holmes all of Oppelo; 3 brothers, Fred Leach of Tipp City, Ohio, Ruben Leach of Adona, and Bob Leach of Utica, Michigan; one sister, Violet Hall of Hot Springs; 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, August 19, 2010, at the Harris Chapel with Rev. John Martin and Rev. Ronny Hull officiating.
