Judith Diane Burke

Judith Diane Burke of Little Rock passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010. Born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Oliver H. and Viola Costley Burke. She was a retired Registered Nurse with the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Houston, Texas and Little Rock, Arkansas. She was a volunteer for many years at the Respite Center at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in North Little Rock. She had been a volunteer at Children's Hospital and with the Angels of the Blind associated with LWSB. Among her many hobbies and interests she enjoyed her family and friends, reading, gardening, traveling, children, and animals. Survivors are a sister, Mary Frances Brock Millsapps and her husband Don of Little Rock; two nephews and a niece and their spouses, Rick and Deborah Kuykendall of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Kent and Bennie Kuykendall of Lubbock, Texas, and Kathi and Andy McKnight of Alexander, Arkansas; two great-nephews, Steven and wife, Katie McKnight of Little Rock and Ryan McKnight of Camp Pendleton, California; two great-nieces, Cherie and husband Brian Hebisen of Lubbock, Texas and Melissa White of Las Vegas, Nevada; five great-great nephews, Sam, Patrick, Nicholas, William and Morgan; and four great-great-nieces, Livia, Greta, Ashley and Morgan; and a dear friend since childhood, Jeanette Thompson Chandler and her family. Thanks to Sue Bethea for her dedication and loving care and also to Baptist Hospice. The funeral service will be at 12 noon, Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel (501) 224-8300. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials may be made to Methodist Children's Home, P.O.
