Gloria Jean Scoggins

Mrs. Gloria Jean Scoggins, 82, of Gurdon, Arkansas died Sunday August 22, 2010, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. She was born February 13, 1928 to Hubert Eugene and Lois Edith McDonald Toland. Gloria was a Gurdon High School graduate of the class of 1946, she was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church and a member of the Lucy Cabe Sunday school class. She was an avid golfer and fisherman. Her survivors include her husband James D. "Juicy " Scoggins, one brother, Jewel Donald Toland of Camden, Arkansas, two sisters, Janice Juanita Foshee of Gurdon, Arkansas and Ramona "Mickey" Landes of Hope, Arkansas and many extended family members and a host of friends all who loved her dearly. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. in Pharr Funeral Home Chapel, Gurdon, Arkansas. Service will be Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the 1st United Methodist Church in Gurdon with Bro. Greg Burks and Bro. Jeff Childress officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hedge Cemetery under the direction of Pharr Funeral Home of Gurdon.
