Thomas "Tom" Eugene Wilson

Thomas "Tom" Eugene Wilson, 76, of Oxley, Arkansas died August 23, 2010 at White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born November 11, 1933 in Elberta, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his mother, Pearline Rolen Wilson Younts, father, William Benjamin Franklin Wilson, sisters, Jewell Garrigus and Virginia Benton, brother, James Levi Wilson, sons, Thomas Blake and William Kalen Wilson. Thomas is survived by his wife of 27 years, Margie Wilson, daughters, Debra Clemons of Marshall, Ark.; Debra Perry of Aledo, Texas; Rhonda Byer (Ron) of Oxley, Ark.; Freda Fender (Tom) of Augusta Georgia; Janet Tockey (Vernon) of Benbrook, Texas; Leslie Kimbrell (Robert) of Weatherford, Texas; Sherri Treat (Steve) of Marshall, Ark.; sons Roger Tockey (Susan) of Burleson, Texas; George Tockey (Debbie) of Ft. Worth, Texas; Dwayne Tockey (Shelly) of Euless, Texas; and Kalen Wilson of Bentonville, Ark. He was also survived by 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Tom served his country in the United States Air Force. Tom was a very talented man. His talents included being a livestock inspector for the state of Arkansas, an auctioneer, a constable for Oxley Township, an evangelist of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for 45 years (Tom loved the Lord), a talented musician, and he rode broncs and bulls for a hobby. Tom was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, August 26, 2010 at the Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall with Bros. David Watts and Rob Branscum officiating. Pallbearers are: Roger Tockey, George Tockey, Dwane Tockey, Ryan Perry, Kalen Wilson and Chase Byler. Honorary Pallbearers are: Doyle Hall, Justin Tockey, Red McElory, Wayne Ramirez, Walker Brown, Jim Garrigus, Jimmy Wilson, Steve Treat and Frankie Wilson. Burial is in Elberta Cemetery near Leslie, Ark. Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at Roller-Coffman Chapel. Online guestbook: www.rollerfuneralhomes.com.
