Andrew Heard, 62, of Jacksonville, passed away August 18, 2010. He was born April 9, 1948 to Katie and Loy T. Heard of Homer, La. He retired from the Army National Guard after 38 years. Andrew was preceded by his parents and a brother, Loy T. Heard Jr. He is survived by his wife, Frances Heard; two daughters, Sandra (Kenny) Bruce of Louisiana and Hope Willis of Jacksonville; four sisters, one brother and one aunt all of Homer, La.; four granddaughters, Heather, Haleigh, Hayden and Hannah, and a special God daughter, Tamara Gill, all of Jacksonville. Service will be August 28, 2010 at 11 a.m. in Homer, La.
