Ashley Spears

Ashley Spears, age 68, of Greenbrier, Ark. passed away August 26, 2010 in Two Rivers, Alaska. He was born on Dec. 27, 1941 in Holcomb, Mo. to the late Howard and Ruby Spears. Ashley had a 33 year career with railroads. After his retirement he spent many happy years with family and friends. His passion was hunting and collecting antique automobiles. Ashley was of the Methodist faith and very active in his church. He is survived by his wife Ann of 33 years, sister Jonelle (Ronnie) Crawford of Kennett, Mo., and numerous other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Phillip, Billy, and Jerry Wayne Spears. Funeral services are 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010 at Damascus United Methodist Church with Reverend Mark Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in Clement Cemetery in Grapevine, Ark.
