Ella Mae Duncan Marks

ELLA MAE DUNCAN MARKS, 82, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010. She was born May 7, 1928, in Searcy, Ark., to the late Estes and Essie Duncan. Mae, or Mamaw as her grandchildren called her, enjoyed visiting with others, smiling and talking about her son and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Leo Marks; son, Larry Dean Marks; and siblings, Jimmy Duncan, Loren Bevill and Mary Robinson. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Joetta Buchanan; four grandchildren, Deanna White, Holly Wilkins, Nathan Marks and Jonas Marks; and 11 great-grandchildren, Nick White, Ben White, Audrey Wilkins, Lucas White, Will Wilkins, Lillie Wilkins, Emily Stanchak, Triston Marks, Auston Marks, Isaac Wilkins and Ian Wilkins. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander (501-455-1067). Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
