Louise L. Smith

LOUISE L. SMITH, 88, of Little Rock, passed away on Friday, Aug. 27, 2010. She was born on Jan. 30, 1922 in Beach Grove, Ark., a daughter of the late Carl and Lorene Blalock Lovelady. She retired from Westinghouse Corporation and was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church and the XYZ Senior Ministry. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of over 20 years, Dennis R. Smith Sr.; one brother, Wayne Lovelady; and one sister, Harriet Jean Lovelady. She is survived by two sons, Charles A. Blair and his wife, Charlene, of Jonesboro, Tenn., and Dudley Blair and his wife, Darby, of North Little Rock, Ark.; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth Lovelady and his wife, Essie, of Las Vegas, Nev.; sister-in-law, Alma Lovelady of Toledo, Ore.; and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel (501)224-8300, with Reverend Carol Ann Blow and Reverend Don Nolley officiating. Pallbearers will be Jim Hart, Bill Trimble, Al Miller, Curtis Smith, and Roger Neaville. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., Monday, at the funeral Home.
