Melna Jean Whisenant

MELNA JEAN WHISENANT went to be with the Lord and her father Aug. 27, 2010 at UAMS in Little Rock. Melna was born Dec. 24, 1954. She was a member of Sandstone Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband Gus Whisenant; her mother, Laura Aaron, and one brother, Arlon Aaron Jr., both of Little Rock; two children, Athena Lusby, and Thomas Kitchens, and three grandchildren, all of Benton, and numerous relatives and friends. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31 at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. Funeral Services will follow at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment will be in Hicks Cemetery. Arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
