Russell Winkler Jr.

RUSSELL EARL WINKLER JR., 63, of Alexander, went home to be with the Lord, Aug. 26, 2010. Russell was born in Alexander, July 27, 1947. He graduated from Bryant High School in 1965 and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. Russell retired after 17 years of service with Southwestern Bell. He enjoyed being outdoors and had a love for animals. Russell is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Calkins and her husband, Brad; sister, Gwen Williamson; brother, Dale Winkler; and granddaughter, Haley Berley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Earl Winkler, Sr. and Beulah Mae (Spann) Winkler. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Huson Funeral Home with Rev. Ernest Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Huson Funeral Home, 6400 Mabelvale Pike, Little Rock.
