Bob Girkin

Bob J. Girkin, 79, of Searcy, died Sunday, November 29, 2010. He was born October 13, 1931 to Festus and Clara Girkin. He was a Searcy Pharmacist for more than 40 years and was owner of Clinic Drug Store when he retired. Bob is survived by his wife, Hazel Girkin; daughter, Tammy Holden and her husband David; son Mickey Girkin and his wife Amy; grandchildren, Lance Rook, Brittany and Kristen Dobbs, Matthew and Shelby Holden and Sarah Girkin; sister, Shirley Moon and her husband Maurice; brothers Jim Girkin and Gene Girkin and his wife Dorothy; step children, Linda Konrad, Larry Barnett, his wife Nim, Debbie Barnett, and Michael Barnett. He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Carmen Dobbs and step-son, Tony Barnett. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday.
