Lindell D. Harrell

Lindell D. Harrell, 85, died Saturday, November 27, 2010 in Amarillo, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at the Antioch Cemetery in Antioch, Ark. with Reverend Scott Johnson officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd., Amarillo, Texas. Lindell was born in Antioch, Ark. on June 11, 1925. He served in the United States Navy aboard a Destroyer during WW II. During his younger years he enjoyed bird hunting, fishing and playing golf. He retired from the Frank Lyon Co. in Little Rock, Ark. after 39 years. He was preceded in death by his father, L.D. Harrell, mother, Wilma Huff Harrell, and a brother Royce. Survivors include his sisters, Trella Waters of Pflugerville, Texas; Patsy Naugher of Amarillo, Texas and brother, Waymon Harrell of Conroe, Texas.
