ARTIS (BILLY) COLUMBUS DUNCAN SR. 60, of Sherwood passed away Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010, with his family at his side. Artis was born in Springfield, Ark. to Otis B. and Betty Lou Williams Duncan. He is preceded in death by his father, Otis B. Duncan. He dedicated his life to Christ at a young age at Mt. Hebrew C.M.E., and later joined Central Baptist Church. He was a Navy Veteran and an Ironworker in Construction. He was a caring and loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be missed by all that knew him. He is survived by his wife, Rena C. Bryant Duncan; mother, Betty Lou Williams Duncan; two sons, Artis C. Duncan Jr. (Gemma) Billy S. Duncan; one daughter, Cassandra Thomas (Michael); six sisters, Donna Nash (Thurman), Barbara LaCamppiello (Garcia), Maeotis Chambers, Glenda Acklin (Donald), Jacqueline Jones (Darryl) and Sylvia McDaniel (Darryl); four brothers, Edward Duncan (Carolyn), Dokie Duncan (Alicia), Glen Duncan (Tanya), Kevin Duncan; eight grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010 at Central Baptist Church with Reverend Dale Prater, Elder James Bryant, Reverend Thurman Nash, Reverend Kylan Mann, and Reverend Willie Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Arkansas State Veterans' Cemetery. There will be open visitation starting Monday, Dec. 6, 2010 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F.
