Clyde Danny Sloate

Clyde Danny Sloate, age 56, passed away Dec. 3, 2010. He was born June 10, 1954 in DeWitt. Danny was a faithful Christian and member of Main Street Church in DeWitt. He was an avid horseman. Danny is survived by his parents, Clyde Henry Sloate of DeWitt and Youlonda King of Searcy. Other survivors are his wife of 32 years, Sara Wallace Sloate; son, Nathan Sloate; daughter, Hailey Sloate Lee; two granddaughters, Carley and Jalyn; sisters, Carol Jenkins of Searcy, Gail Lamb and Janet Cox of DeWitt; and brother, Claudie Sloate of Beebe. Funeral services will be at First Baptist Church in Gillett, Modnay, Dec. 6, 2010, at 10 a.m., with Bro. Freddie Mannis officiating. Burial will be at Gillett Cemetery by Essex Funeral Home, DeWitt.
