Lea Ann Hargrove VonTungeln

Lea Ann Hargrove VonTungeln, 49, of Pine Bluff, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was born Nov. 29, 1961 in Tyler, Texas, daughter of James Paul Hargrove and Clara Coats Hammonds. Lea Ann was reared and received her early education throughout the world, graduating from Klein High School in Houston, Texas. She attended Sam Houston State University, Arkansas State University and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. She worked as a clerk for Fed Ex Freight. Lea Ann was a member of Belair Presbyterian Church. She loved to cook for her family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Dale VonTungeln, whom she married June 18, 1988 in Pine Bluff; daughter, Ashley Brianne VonTungeln of Pine Bluff; two step-sons, William Dale "Bubba" VonTungeln III of Pine Bluff and Matthew Braden VonTungeln of Pine Bluff; father, James Paul Hargrove of Pine Bluff; mother and step-father, Clara Coats Hammonds and Gene Hammonds of Lago Vista, Texas; step-sister, Gena Hammonds of Austin, Texas; two step-brothers, Greg Hammonds of Marietta, Ga. and Glenn Hammonds of Houston, Texas; and half-brother, Brent Alexander of Livingston, Texas. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, Dec. 6, 2010 at Central Presbyterian Church with Dr. Dan Festa officiating. Burial will follow in Fitzhugh Cemetery by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 4-6 p.m. at Robinson's. The family will be at the home of Dora VonTungeln, 401 West 37th Avenue in Pine Bluff.
