Lorna Emilie Hood

Lorna Emilie Hood, 64, of Benton, got her wings Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010. She was a devoted employee of Wal-Mart for 13 years. She was born in Canada on Sept. 3, 1946 and was very proud to attain American Citizenship in 2002. Lorna was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and friend to all. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, and one sister. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Don Hood; two daughters, Natalie Terry and husband, Brad and Kathy Spears and husband, Darron; four step-children, Gene, Carl, Lynette, and Marty; her beloved grandchildren, Tonya Lawson and her husband, Josh, Tiffany Terry, and PFC Allen Spears; numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers, and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6, 2010 at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton (501-315-4047) with Rev. Ken Graham and Rev. Claude Weatherford officiating. Interment will follow at Lee Cemetery in Benton. Visitation will be from 6–8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010 at the funeral home.
