Avis Lucille Loftis

Avis Lucille Loftis, 91, of Stuttgart, passed away Monday, December 6, 2010 at Baptist Health in Stuttgart. Avis was a long time employee of Jacuzzi. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son, Delbert Hanks; daughter-in-law, Carol; two brothers, Garland and Grover Hanks and two sisters, Ruby Harrolle and Gladys Murray. Avis is survived by one son, Charles Freemyer and wife, Marcia of Stuttgart; five grandchildren, Chuck Freemyer and wife, Hollie of Almyra, Gina Knight and husband, Tuan of McKinney, Texas, Eric Freemyer of Stuttgart, Kevin Hanks of Cherry Valley and Brent Hanks of Wynne; several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at the Hazen Cemetery in Hazen, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Park Avenue Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 983, Stuttgart, Ark. 72160. Arrangements are by Westbrook Funeral Home of Hazen.
