Catherine Perry Shipley

Mrs. Catherine Perry Shipley age 86, of Forrest City, Arkansas died Sunday, December 5, 2010 at her home. Mrs. Shipley was born April 28, 1924 in Mississippi and was the daughter of WM "Watt" Perry and Ester George Perry. She lived in St. Francis county most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Truel Shipley; her parents; four brothers, Franklin "Buddy" Perry, Aaron Perry, Charles "Sonny" Perry, and Watty Perry; three sisters; Margaret Smith, Elizabeth McCafferty and Barbara Ann Perry. Mrs. Shipley is survived by two sons; Larry and wife Jennifer Shipley of North Little Rock and Jerry and wife Vicky Shipley of Marion; two daughters, Diane and husband Ted Busby of Forrest City and Carolyn Milholen of Hot Springs; one sister, Frankie Ann Arnold of Marion; nine grandchildren, Larry and wife Carla Busby and Jessica and husband Justin Johnson of Forrest City, Josh and wife Sharon Shipley of Memphis, Hannah Shipley of Marion, Marshall and Meagan Shipley of North Little Rock, Dylan Milholen of Hot Springs, Ben Milholen of Conway and Mandy Milholen of Little Rock; nine great-grandchildren, Cody Garner, Tyler McGinnis, Allie Johnson, Jackson McGinnis, Palin Johnson, Kindale Smith, Sam Shipley, Keaton Johnson, and Chase Peevey. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bell Cemetery in Palestine, Arkansas.
