Jewell and Daisy operated Hall's Service Station and Garage in Biscoe until he was able to fulfill his dream of being a full time farmer. Jewell farmed cotton and soybeans. He loved the land and was innovative about trying new techniques and equipment, especially in the cotton industry. After retirement in 1982, Jewell and Daisy very much enjoyed RV camping and fishing with his siblings, Chester and Pearlene Hall, Albert and Iona Coker and Gaylon and Bernie Hall.
