Edna Eveline Stanford, 91, of Conway passed away on Monday, December 6, 2010. She was a daughter of the late Charles Osborne and George Elizabeth (Coppin) Herring. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a graduate of the University of Kentucky and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Peters Episcopal Church, where she was involved in the Altar Guild, Vestry, and a faithful and strong supporter of the Mission of St. Peters. She was involved in Junior Shakespeare, Garden Club, and active in many bridge clubs. She is survived by two daughters, Marilyn and Tim Lewallen of Little Rock, and Eveline Rivers of Amarillo, Texas; four grandchildren, Todd and Dana Rivers, Allison and Quint Floyd, all of Amarillo, Texas, and Reed Lewallen and Whitney Lewallen of Little Rock; eight great-grandchildren, Lauren, Austin, Tanner, and Delaney Rivers, and Quinci, Linzi, Logan, and Braxton Floyd; sister, Mary Stevenson of Covington, Kentucky; special friends, Dawn Rivers and Tommy Fowlkes, both of Conway; and faithful companion "Trixie". In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Warren Klayer Stanford; son-in-law, Wayne Rivers; and grandson, Rusty Rivers. Services will be held at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at St. Peters Episcopal Church, Conway with Dr. Teri Daily, officiating. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park with Todd Rivers, Reed Lewallen, Quint Floyd, Austin Rivers, Tanner Rivers, Logan Floyd, Braxton Floyd, and Tommy Fowlkes, serving as pallbearers.
