Ellen J. Benjamin Thomas

Ellen J. Benjamin Thomas, 80, of Benton, Arkansas passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, December 7, 2010. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on August 23, 1930. Ellen was a loving mother, caring friend and good Christian woman. Her compassion and loving kindness were felt by all who knew her. She will be missed dearly. Ellen is survived by her daughters, Julia Carrol Kelley and husband, Ricky; Mona Norris and husband, Phillip; Charlotte Hewitt and husband, Ken; Otis Hemphill and his wife, Peggy; six grandchildren, Steven Alexander (Donya), Wenona Bellmore, Tracie Alexander Withrow, Buck, Jacob and Garland Hemphill; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Ark. 72209 (501) 455-5800.
