Gloria (Susie) Jean Stueart Hastings, age 64, of Little Rock, Arkansas entered the gates of heaven Wednesday, December 8, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gillie Milton Stueart and Nannie Mae Chism Stueart and one son, Richard L. Hastings. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jim B. Hastings Sr.; three children; Jim B. Hastings Jr. and his wife Cindy, Cynthia L. Hastings Atherton and her husband David and Timothy S. Hastings, and his wife Jonell.; five grandchildren, Jason Hastings, Jeffrey Hastings, Taylor Atherton, Alyssa Hastings and Austin Hastings all of Little Rock; one sister, Betty Cross of Prescott. Also survived by many extended family members and a host of friends. She loved family, spending time with her grandchildren, sitting on the porch, watching deer and squirrels and the many hours she spent hunting and fishing. She will be greatly missed by all, especially her husband, who lost his best friend, hunting and fishing buddy. Visitation was held 6-8 p.m., Friday, December 10, 2010 at Pharr Funeral Home of Prescott. Graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, December 11, 2010 at New Salem Cemetery near Prescott, Ark.
