Linda Pauline Gough, age 68, of Little Rock, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 9, 2010, at her home. Linda fought a long battle with ALS, Lou Gehrig's disease. She lived a full life surrounded by her family and friends. Linda gave so much of herself to others. She raised three children and mothered many special needs foster children. She loved to serve the Lord in every aspect of her life. She was an active member of her church and community. If there was a need Linda would satisfy that need. While Linda has gone on to live in Heaven, she leaves behind a shining example of how to be a devoted wife, a patient mother and grandmother, a sister and a constant friend. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Jessie Gough; three children, Ricky Gough (Rhonda) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Larry Gough (Anita) of Alexander, Arkansas, and Jill Abels (Kyle) of Bryant, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Laurie and Ryan Gough, Lindsey and Bailey Abels, and Courtney, Cameron and Caylie Gough; and one great-grandchild, Gavin Wright. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 13, 2010, at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy. 5 North, Alexander (501- 455-1067) with Brother Odis Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 12, 2010, at the funeral home.
