Glenna Kay Kennedy Hart

Glenna Kay Kennedy Hart, age 65, passed away at home on Dec. 9, 2010, surrounded by family. She was born Jan. 23, 1945, in Abingdon, Va., to Mary Alice and W.P. Kennedy. She attended the University of Arkansas where she met her husband of 46 years, Hamilton Robert Hart. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1965. Glenna enjoyed traveling, fishing and golfing as well as doting on her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Hamilton Robert Hart of the home; three daughters, Christine Lee Hart Roller of Fayetteville, Susan Kay Hart Rogerson and husband, Scott, of Fayetteville and Sara Elizabeth Hart Matthews and husband, Craig, of Maumelle; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Ashley and Meghan Leigh Roller of Fayetteville, Campbell Scott and Caroline "Bunny" Scotlyn Rogerson of Fayetteville and Hunter Hart Matthews of Maumelle; one sister, Alice Faye Kennedy Jones and husband, Bill Frank of Fayetteville and one brother, William Powers Kennedy and wife, Mary Lee of Fayetteville. Memorial services will be at First Presbyterian Church of Springdale on Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, at 1 p.m., with Rev. James Stewart Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Donald W. Reynolds Boys and Girls Club of Fayetteville, 560 N. Rupple Road, Fayetteville, Ark. 72704. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
