James M. Dean

James M. Dean, age 83, of Crossett died Friday, Dec. 10, 2010. He was born Aug. 31, 1927 to Robert and Quincy Mae Prohn Dean. Mr. Dean was an Elder and former Pastor of Community of Christ Church. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Kathryn Jones Dean; one son, Clovis Dean; four daughters, Donna Pennington, Debra Lochala, Lisa Gulledge (Curtis), all of Crossett, Ark. and Rhonda Barnes (Andy) of Hamburg, Ark.; two brothers, Jerry Dean of Baton Rouge, La. and John Dean of Beecher, Ill.; two sisters, Patsy Croswell of Hamburg, Ark. and Barbara Nell Allen of Springfield, Mo.; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday, Dec. 13, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, Ark.
