Wesley Bradbury

WESLEY E. BRADBURY, 87, of Sardis Community, passed away Dec. 10, 2010. He was born Sept. 8, 1923 in Pulaski County, Ark. to the late Erasmus and Minnie Bradbury. Wesley was a faithful member of the Sardis United Methodist Church. He had many friends and neighbors who loved him as he worked in the timber industry to the age of 85. Wesley and Doris started the Bradbury Christmas Tree Farm in 1979, which continues today as a family business. Wesley was preceded in death by his parents; son, James Wesley "Buddy" Bradbury; one brother and two sisters. Survivors, wife, Doris (Hogue) Bradbury; daughters, Deloras Haze and husband, B.J. of Colorado, Nina Barnard and husband, Denver of Little Rock, Janette Jondro and husband, Doug; sons, Joe Bradbury and wife, Tracy, Rickey Bradbury and wife, Jenne, all of Sardis; grandchildren, Wes Jensen, Erin O'Malley, Dori O'Malley, Ryan Bradbury, Brooke Bradbury, Amie (Jondro) White and husband, John, David Jondro, Adam, Arlie, Amanda, Alicia and Abbey Bradbury, great grandchildren, Reece Jensen and Lannah Grace White; special brother, Ben Clardy and wife Sammie Lou and a special sister, Caroline (Clardy) Harkins. Church Services by Ashby Funeral Home will be Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Sardis United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery at Sardis.
