Judith Marchese

JUDITH "JUDY" MARCHESE, 68, of North Little Rock, passed away on Dec. 10, 2010 surrounded by her family and friends and the room was packed! She was born in North Little Rock on April 11, 1942 to the late James (Skeeter) and Mary Ann Kennedy Williams. Judy was a graduate of North Little Rock High School Class of 1960. Judy retired from the Arkansas Highway & Transportation Department and worked with her husband at Vincent Marchese and Associates Auctioneers. Mom enjoyed cooking, reading, spending time with family and friends. Judy was an avid garage sale bargain hunter and served as a state and local officer in the Arkansas Jaycettes. Judy coached young girls in basketball at St. Mary's Catholic School and Immaculate Conception School. She was active in her grandchildren's lives and sporting events. She supported her children's various volunteer projects. Judy loved every holiday she could garner up a family gathering at the home. If you didn't have a place to go for a holiday then you were always welcomed at Mama Judy's! She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Vincent Marchese; sons, Vincent C. Marchese and wife, Gretchen of North Little Rock, Todd Marchese and wife, Kathy of Hot Springs; daughters, Gina and husband, Brett Pharis of Little Rock, Jill Marchese and Gerry Booe of Little Rock; grandchildren, Vincent and Katie, Chase and Joanna, Kaitlyn, Kelsey, Michael and Laura Marchese; one great grandson, Lathan Marchese; three sisters; one brother and a host of special girl friends. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010 at the North Little Rock Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
